Social and environmental responsibilities have always been the focus of AUO Crystal’s continued focus as a global citizen and one of the entrepreneurial spirits. We use actual actions to cultivate social culture and public welfare care deeply, and we invite our partners through various methods to fulfill our promise of social participation together.
Dream realization project
Continuing the passion since 2011, AUO Crystal’s passionate volunteers who help make children’s dreams come true spent less than three days to pledge the dream gifts of almost a hundred children. We hope that through the examples of colleagues, the small wishes of children from economically disadvantaged families and disabled families have the opportunity to be realized through the care of other people. To allow children to bathe in priceless warmth in cold winters.
Environmental education
In order to promote food and agricultural education to deep root the knowledge and concept of sustainable environment, and cultivate respect and gratitude for food, producers and the environment, big and small children were invited to participate in the beetle eco-box experience DIY, to recycle and reuse agricultural waste such as discarded wood, space bags and fallen leaf composts and convert them into nutrients for stag beetle and rhinoceros larvae, then return to the earth again. Take a guided tour of the organic farm environment, feed the cows raised by the school, and experience the fun of rice milling to understand the amount of hard work put into every grain of organic rice from the production site to the dining table.
Cleaning the ocean
Colleagues invite one another to protect the ocean together, to clean and maintain the beaches spontaneously and continuously to keep the coasts of Taiwan beautiful for a long time; more importantly, reducing plastic waste is the fundamental solution to the problem. During the process of getting close to the ocean, experience the beauty of the earth, and implement the concept of environmental sustainability from the process of bending down and picking up. Beach cleaning does not require special skills or professional knowledge; just take action to regain the distance between us and the beach~
