AUO Crystal Corp. is a reinvestment of AUO Corporation and was officially established in 2009. It was originally called “AUO Energy Technology Co.”, but was renamed to “AUO Crystal Corp.” in 2010. Following its global layout strategies, manufacturing and service locations were established in different regions to provide the most real-time customer service. The parent company, AUO Corporation, started to actively develop its solar business since 2008, and cooperated with M.Setek in Japan and other world-renowned major third-party companies to create a vertically-integrated solar energy value chain.
